Lifeguard, lifeguard there's a fool in the pool

My dad works at a swimming hall, he teaches and works in the technical.. room. So not only could I take a swim for free, watch in the room with all the noisy machines, play with awesome toys (like a canoe in the pool) .. I also got to swim alone in the pool, as first swimmer of the day. The stillness in the water is so weird to see. You hardly ever see the water calm, right?

I always thought it was awesome, but it also scared the crap out of me to be in the water alone. 'cause normally there's also kids screaming and stuff, but then it's just total quiet.. except for the actually kind of creepy pool machine noises..

I was always afraid of sharks when I was in the pool all by myself.
