Photo(booth)time! (this time for real)

This time for real? Read the previous blog.

1 Spöka! I also have a blue one. And omg, look at this it's the new one!
2 It's a skirt. I like floral prints.
3/4 I was trying to figure out what it would be like if I were a twin.. 3 reminded me a bit of Big Fish, the siamese twins? And 4 was what it would be like if we would be like "WHAT did you say?!"
5 My valentines day expression.
6 With Rosa we made this a while ago..
7 Barbarella..
8 Charlie the Unicorn. Or did I post this one?
9 I think.. this had something to do with.. I don't know.. I was meant to be a warrior of some kind. Probably a "I have to clean my room-ninja"

Narcissism hey! .. well.. I see it as boredom and how to make a fool of yourself, easy and effectively.

CIIAOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Photo(booth)time!

I was looking through the pictures and images I've collected over the past weeks. And I also found a shitload of ridiculously stupid photobooth pictures which I just really wanted to post, because it is spring now and stuff. Springclean! (I should seriously springclean my room.. omg WHAT a mess) (again) (as always) (shut up)

HHHMMMMMMMMMM bummer.
Uploading is not cooperating. I will listen to Fiona Apple and try again in a while.
(Fiona solves all the problems)

Aks me a question.. I am bored.

Yesterdaaaaaay

all my troubles seemed so faaaaahrrr awaayyyyyyyyyy.
I love that song. Yee-ee-eesss.

So, yesterday I had to play in Utrecht, at the Tweetakt Festival. And it looked really cool.
At first I wasn't really looking forward to it because just before and when I started playing, there was practically no one there. Really. No one. And it feels so crappy to have to play when no one's there.. But after a while more people came, so that was cool :D and I had fun.

It was a fun day altogether, went there with Marco, almost hit a dog running loose on the highway. Stopped on our way because it was such a lovely sunny day!
Oohhh and, he gave me a.. shit.. oh no, it's the same, he gave me a harmonica for my birthday :D so cool! We're planning on a hike through Holland in the summer and now I can actually bring along an instrument without breaking my back (figuratively) carrying it, okay, my uku isn't that heavy but .. it's annoying to carry around.
But first things first.. I need to learn how to play it! Another instrument that yet needs to be mastered ;-)

Oh, and I played.
The Pirate Song//I was your Bird//I might kill you//Mushrooms//Jungle//Teddy bear//Wikipedia.
And supporting the Avett Brothers I played almost the same..
The Pirate Song//I was your Bird//Winter//Jungle//Mushrooms. It was very cool I had the opportunity to be their support and to play in Paradiso (one of the biggest/best musicplaces in the Netherlands). That the people there didn't really like me.. well.. I think I will just have to get used to that. Not that I thought everybody always liked me orsomething. But I mean, being the support-band, that way.
Aaannnywayyyyy!!

Three men walk into a bar, you'd think at least one would duck.

Have a nice day. Oh oh no wait. By the way. The lyrics I put in one of my previous blogs? the Love and War song. I put it online the day before yesterday. Let me see...

HAIGUUUUUUYZZZZ.

Have a nice deee. Xx Flowah

omg stoopid! edit: What was also really cool about yesterday, is that Corné was there too. Click for his (really funny, though Dutch) blog. I know him from Lowlands, and I don't really know him. But well.. yeah.. whatever! Though I think most people reading this already know his blog?

Opinionize this

About 2 things. 1, of course, Alice in Wonderland, how could I forget. Second, Lady Gaga's Telephone video with Beyoncé.

Alice in Wonderland was a bit awkward because I was waiting for it for.. well more then a year. Me and my friends were hysterical the first time we heard Tim (fucking) Burton would be directing Alice in (fucking) Wonderland! And even more when we found out Johnny Depp would be playing the mad hatter. Of course. But well.. so then I went there with extremely high expectations. Which kind of got in my way, because I was like "omg.. I want to like this movie" while sitting there. And that's stupid. After the break I had kind of lost that, so that was nice.

But okay well yeah okay anyway.

Of course it looked gorgeous. All the scenery, the colours, the clothes, the people (Anne Hathaway with white hair = very cool. Mia Kamikosasakiwa = just annoyingly beautiful), the actors (Johnny, Helena, ALAN!, Matt, Stephen..). I was kind of annoyed by the little Alice, but well, she's just a kid, so I'll cut her some slack. :-)

I also loved the slightly different story, which I will not talk about in case you're still gonna see it.

The 3-D.. well.. it was cool but I'm not a sucker for 3-D and never will be I guess. The glasses made me a bit dizzy and left those stupid marks on my nose because.

Okay so, conclusion: It wasn't the best movie I ever saw, but it was still Really cool, but I feel like need to watch it again though. ("I feel like" omg ;-D)

Okay, second..... ... what was that a.. oohh yes, the Telephone video. Most of the time I thought the song was boring. The video.. was a bit too long.. the outfits and looks were stunning though :D especially Beyoncé. I loved her hair.

.. well that was kind of negative... sorry :p

Here's something nice then:

would that be a compliment?

Have a fantastic fucking day.

Song and toads

I captured a toad while it was hopping across the road (unintentional rhyme, whee!) I put it on the side of the road. I hope that was a good thing to do. 'Cause further down that road I found 1 toad stretched out with his insides squished out.. and another who was kind of like.. a pile of.. squishy toad. Yes.

I looove toads and frogs :D I like frogs better though.

Here is a song I started yesterday, and finished today. (slight adjustments might still follow blablabla bla) (bla)

I think the title is (it might change blablablabla) (bla) (blabla) ;

War and Love

I met him during, the second world war
I wore glasses, he wore a scar
He told me I looked like his mother
- who he'd loved very much
I told him he looked like my brother

- who had always liked to touch, me

And we made love, in the room
in which we would die
And we made love in that room

only God knows why

Clocks were ticking, or was it, a bomb?

People were singing, or was it crying all along?

Time was ticking away,
- both too slow and too fast

Sometimes we yearned for the future
- sometimes we wished for the past

And the working would set us free

but all it did was killing me
though I'm not suggesting they lied
'cause in the end the were right

He gave me his number, for they had taken his name

I showed him mine, it was almost the same

And he smiled the only smile he remembered,

like a star too far away

and he told me, if you mix all the colors
you'll end up with black and gray

And it was those two colors

that filled up our lives
Not only our minds and bodies
but also the skies

I met him during, the second world war

I wore glasses, he wore a scar
He told me I looked like his mother

and that his heart was all mine

I told him he would be a father

- if it weren't for time

Well, my computer just told me (yes, told me, I've a macbook) it's twenty-two hours. So I'd best get ready for my sleepytimes. And use my electric toothbrush for the first time! I actually find it a bit scary. I imagine I might start giggling because it is so weird and then I'll probably spit out all the toothpaste..

By the way, are there actually any English speaking (well, reading) people reading my blog? Because it kind of feels like I'm making a fool out of myself typing stories in bad grammared English for.. well.. John Dick (that's a dutch prase but then translated, meaning for no reason/nothing you know..)

CIAAAOOOWSZZZ! Xxxxxxxxxxxx you've got zhe luuuurb.

ps. image note: omggggg when, one day, I have long hair, I am sooo gonna make those kinds of braids. I think they're lovelovelovely.

pps. it's raining, I love rain hitting the roof and windows (and streets), especially when I'm trying to sleep. Ohhhh I seriously can't wait for that perfect smell you get when it was a hot day and it will/is/ is going to rain(ing).. love that smell.

O.K. byez.

The house of leaves

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/House_of_Leaves
The books has been hunting me for over a year now.

At first I didn't know it. I got to know it when I got to know Poe, she made an album called Haunted. It's not the music I normally listen to, but the first time I heard a song I immediately bought the album and listened to it non-stop for a while. In the booklet that came with the cd I read something about a book called The House of Leaves. So I googled that. And found out about the book, and about the whole story around it. All the things people say and think about it. The secrets hidden in the story. And at that point I already wanted to have it. Didn't even know where it was about.

So then, it took a while, I went asking for it in bookstores, but they all didn't have it. I asked the book for my birthday, then said I didn't wanted it anymore, so then I didn't get it. Then I bought it myself. I started reading right away.
But, that's the weird thing, I liked it, I thought it was well written, funny, a pageturner ;-) but I stopped. I stopped reading after about only 70 pages. Maybe because it's also kind of difficult for me, I mean, it is in English and I mostly read in English, but this is a bit harder... but it's annoying! I have that book, I want to read it, but I can't and I don't. Every once in a while I grab it, read a page, and put it down again.

Stupid book.

I will finish it one day.

Anyway, sorry for such a boring and boringwritten blog.
Here's a Poe video, she's the sister or the author by the way, did I mention that?

Like I said.. different :p

Daniël

I was in the train Tuesday, going to a music academy in Enschede. And I was reading the metro, a free public transport paper, and I read an article about a baby, that was found in a city in Holland. The mayor named him Daniël. It inspired me to write a song.

A boy was found
I named him Daniël
- and he will be loved

I wrote a letter
to explain
- one day you will know

We all love you
except for her
- who will will not name

A boy was found
I named him Daniël
- and I will be loved

I still want to read the bible about Daniël though.. who was he again? Might give me some more to write about. Though I really did choose the song to be this short.

It's my party and I'll cry if I want to

You when as a kid, when it was your birthday and/or you had your party, you always got cranky in the end? I did anyway. I always got sooo tired and cranky at the end of the day.
But I still get kind of tired and cranky on my birthdays. Especially when I have a cold, and already am tired. And I don't like giving parties. I mean, I do. I love parties... well, so, that's something different. When I throw a party myself I'm always like 'oh my god. they're bored. they think I'm a douche bag and they're bored. the think I'm boring and a douche bag and lame and they are bored.'
And because of thinking that, I always end up saying "Heeeeey let's play hide and seek!" (or other games like that) I'm not ashamed saying I love playing hide and seek. But I mean, that's me. And I really like it but again; that's me. And then we go play hide and seek and then I think.. suuuuure.. I'm having fun.. and others are laughing and playing the game.. but.. they probably think I'm a total douche bag.

Okay, so, this happened once. But still! You get the idea.

Anyway. I'm not tir.. well yes, I am tried, but I'm not cranky yet. I do have a cold and a heavy head though.. but ah well. I'll manage. And I bought myself some stuff to squirt in your nose (haha ewwww squirt! nose! eewwwwwww), hey you gotta be nice to yourself when it's your birthday, and I'm getting kind of old you know.. need to take good care of myself. (And my nose)

I also bought fruit drinks and spa lemon&ginger ohhh that is SO nice! And peanutbutter, because it was oop. I mean, we were out of peanut butter.

This is pointless :p here's a nice image, from me to you, because I am now 19 and I want to have given more than I took, at the end of my life. So why not start now.

(and because I am going to Alice in Wonderland in about an hour) (ommggg I waited for that movie since I knew they were going to make it! I'm so exited and curious!!!) (omg.. 3 exclamation marks.. that's bad)

Oh ps. A crappy song:

Hum

I should've been out of the bus right now already. And, I'm not in the bus. No.
I never managed to get in the frigging bus.

So now I'm sitting in the kitchen, on the chair, behind the table where my laptop is. Shoulders down, my spine, despite all it's great efforts, isn't as straight as it should be. My neck tilted to the right. I feel like a bag of potatoes.
A very tired bag of potatoes, sitting on a chair, at a table, with a laptop. Typing useless things out of boredom and laziness, laziness because I missed a bus I shouldn't have missed. Laziness because now, my vocalteacher has nothing to do because I missed a bus I shouldn't have missed.

I am not sad, I am not down, I am tired. And I'm tired of being tired. I guess that's what you get for going to bad a half past 8 (in the evening); you don't sleep, leaving you more tired and more disappointed. Oh crikey, come ooonnnn, smile a little smile.

YES! :D

Ah mm, I've already got a second cup of (hoooorrrible) coffee. More for the moral value of caffeine than for the real value and effect that caffeine has on my body. But that's okay. Oh god, you should taste this. It's rubbish haha. If I'd poor it into the sea, I'm sure every creature swimming in that black cloud of horrible black coffee water would die.

Here's an image I love.

I recently started a 'favs' map in iphoto, because looking at beautiful/funny images always makes me feel serene (hehehee). Well but anyway so; this is one of my favourites.

I'd better stop now, before I miss the next bus too.

Chitty

I've got one of those days. I am totally freaking out over every little fucking thing. And freaking out not in the smallest sense. I just want to go to bed and stay there until it's over again, but I have to do stuff, like practise and go to Zwolle tomorrow to visit a music academy overthere, like that has use. Whatever.

Here the video of Chitty, I recorded and uploaded yesterday.
