Korte film: De Tafel

Nou geniet ervan.**

* Ik ben zo hip! Engels woorden door m'n Nederlandse tekst wajoooo. Zo americannnnn. Like, yeah.

Schattige Claaaaire

Op de achtergrond de fabuleuze Dorien!

Lekker sliden.

2015 to do: Lezen & Kijken

TO DO LEZEN:
- The Happiness Project, Gretchen Rubin

- Eating Animals, Jonathan S. Foer

(Beginnen met Oryx and Crake, en dan The Year of the Flood.

- Wildwood Imperium, Colin Meloy
Jaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.

- House of Leaves, Mark Z. Danielewski

- Not that kind of Girl, Lena Dunham
Ben ik wel erg benieuwd naar. En ik luf Lena. En Girls. (En Jemima Kirke omggggg)

- Sophie's World, Jostein Gaarder

The General in his Labyrinth.'

TO DO KIJKEN:
- Orange is the New Black

Oke dit lijkt me duidelijk.

- 2001: A Space Oddyssey

Was da?

Of bijna. We kijken Cosmos en PewDiePie, en Kings of Summer en The Way Way Back, en nu komt Ratatouille.

Exams etc

 Oh the irony!
(Or well, is it irony? I always get confused about irony. It's the fault of Alanis Morissette and that Irish dude.)(or is he Scottish? Can't remember)

Anyway, I was in one of my: OMG I'M GOING TO DOWNLOAD AN EMULATOR AND PLAY POKEMON ALL DAY-moods, and then when my geodude wanted to learn selfdestruct I came upon this. I thought it was funny mostly because it seemed so sarcastic, and also because I really need to give up on selfdestruct myself. But alas, I'm not a rock-pokemon (or voltorb or etc.), it's not just a matter of giving up on bad habits and selfdestruct, it's more a matter of unhabiting and working and sweating (maybe more brain-sweating than real life sweating).

Enough of this semi-psychological-amateuristic-blabbering. I did yoga twice this week! And Tom and me went swimming again on saturday. Also we went running.. or was that last week? Can't remember.
And I walked a lot. So so far so good on the exercising more. I started reading again also, I kind of quit that for a while due to the busy school stuff: oh yes btw; I passed both my exams! Whoopee.

Yesterday I watched episode 2 of Sherlock season 3. I LOVE THAT SERIES SO MUCH. I want to be the annoying 3th party in that series. Like, following Sherlock and Watson around and bake cupcakes and drag coffee in a thermos with me wherever they go. Or no, coffe should be tea of course. And no cupcakes but biscuits. Yes. Great plan.

Love,
Fleur

I watched Norwegian Wood, a film of the book Norwegian Wood by Haruki Murakami.
The book was beautiful and sad. And although I always hate it that in movies you miss almost half of the book (I get why but still), I think they did a good job.
Especially the scene of which I posted the still. And the scenes that came before these scenes.

I had a bit weird subs, they really lacked the subtlety which is actually really required for anything Murakami-ish. I think it would be better with better subtitles.

It's weird (it's arthouse) but if you like that, watch it. I wonder how I would've liked it if I didn't first read the book. Maybe Norwegian Wood would be better the other way around.

I'm still reading Auel. So nothing new bookwise.

In half an hour I'll be going to a studio nearby, and me and 2 others will be doing backings in a live video recording of songwriter+band Salisbury! Can't wait! I looove that song and I love doing backings to it. I'll make sure to post it here once it's online!!

Well for now, au revoir.
Love,

Fleur

Ooohhh just watch the 1st half of The Boat That Rocked again, with 2 of my classmates. We were to tired to watch the second half..
But we stopped just after hearing this song again.. wow.. It's really so beautiful.

And with that I say good night!
Tomorrow rehearsal with Tineke, for our songwriting duo! Wooooh!
And then vocaltechniques and offffffffffff to my weekend.

WHAT?

Ahh doesn't this remind you of Pan's Labyrinth? Aahhhhhh the creepiest monster EVER. Really, brrrrrr. Google 'Pan's Labyrinth Monster' if you don't know it. But really. you SHOULD know it. Yeeeessss being friendly as ever. Not bossy at ullll.

I'm watching the Prince and Me, I like Julia Stiles. I liked her even more when she was in Dexter. The Prince and Me kind of sucks, but that's okay. And I read a little while watching.
Sooo tired, and I have no idea why, really terrible. So maybe I'll try sleeping now. With a little reading to fatigue the eyes some more.

I love it when sometimes -when people say 'eyes' or sing it in a song- it totally sounds like 'ass'.
And with that I bid you farewell my loves,

All truly sincerely yours,
Fleur

ps. probably weird through lack of sleep, excuzi.
pps. .... wait I forgot oh no wait! I think I'll have some new lyrics up here somewhere this week. yahaahaaaywooo yeahhwhooohohohohohohohoh

It is asaammmmmmm.

I'm gonna tidy my room now, with some nice music.. but what? Some.. Lykke Li.. Sophie Hunger, Lady Gaga.. Angus and Julia Stone? Regina Spektor, Fiona Apple.. maybe the Beatles?

God my room's a mess. Haha this is really bad. Even stuff from my birthday last week... beer bottles, plastic bags, paper.. yes, this needs to be done.

Hold me in your arms

and sway me like the sea.

Ooh I have such nice classmates! Yesterday we went to drink something in 'our pub' at 3, and though some people came and left, we stayed there 'till 8 in the evening haha. Just chatting about stuff, and also some very serious conversations, it was really nice!

Je weet zelluf.

Mmmm well.. I think I'll be going to school in a minute.. though the sky's turning pretty grey at the moment :s hope it's not going to rain just while I'm on my way to school..
Almost holiday! Yay :) Need to work my ass of though.. hopefully I'll be able to kick my own butt everyday (we say that, you need a kick under your butt. And we always get our sin) to actually do stuff.. because I have to!!.. but I already said that.

Don't let it's cuteness fool you. It has a poisonous stinger in it's tail.

and it will, most definitely, kill you.

If I were to come back as an animal, I would so be a platipus. I mean, lookatiiiiiit!

Went to see my other sister today, her new house. Aaah I am jealous, it's just so nice! Except for that it was a complete mess ;) (she only moved in yesterday) we played a game called Phase 10 and it was awesome. I love games.

And in the train back, I watched 500 days of Summer, I'd started it ammm.. yesterday, I guess, or maybe on Friday even.. anyway, but the beginning didn't really.. keep me watching or anything. But, since I had nothing to do, I started watching it again, and I liked it. The main characters were cool Zoe Deschanel (She sings in the band She&Him if you didn't know that and like her; check them out! (the Him is M. Ward which also is awesome, also as a solo singer, lovely voice)

Well.. mm.. I think I'm going to go to bed.. I wish I had some more HIMYM left, but I watched them all.. and I won't get a new one until Tuesday (Yes, I have my own HIMYM provider).. Maybe I should just start on the IT crowd already...

And what should I wear tomorrow?!!! OOOOO EEEEEM GEEEE.

I'm sticking with you. 'cause I'm made out of glue.

I'm watching Superbad on tv. I wish I could marry Michael Cera.

Ever since I saw him in Juno I fell in love with him. Well, I practically fell in love with everything in Juno. Ellen Page, the music (mainly) by Kimya Dawson, having a baby and putting it up for adoption.. hello bad joke. Nah, I just love that movie :) Also! If you liked Ellen Page in Juno, go watch her in Hard Candy.. awesome movie. Might be a bit painful to watch if you're a man.

Ooh yesterday I went to Leiden (a city) to see my sister Wieteke (she's in the navy) and her boyfriend, I got to see their house, never saw it before :) and I hadn't seen her in like.. a year, since she was on a ship fighting pirates! (yohoo yohoo a pirate's life isn't for me no no) (.........) and my oldest sister also came (she lives nearby). She'd brought lots of her lovely clothes.
And because of little faults in a dress I got it for farreee! Aahhrr I would love it so much to just really buy something from her.. I really like the garments she makes and I would just really love to support her in such a way. But I just don't have the money... so, the least I can do is spamming you with her website! visit: WWW.CHARLOTTEKAN.COM

Maybe I'll upload a picture wearing the dress, and spam with that too. Gosh I am so tired.. drinking some hot chocolate. mm.

I feel like.. a musicpost.. or a lyricbitspost.. or maybe just a pictures of ommmgmcute animals post. Or...... other cool images posts.. Anyone any idea?

ohhhhh that hair.. I love it.

I feel like dying my hair pink(ish) again. Or red. Or maybe a darker brown. Or black.
I'm just hairbored, like always.

Feel like

I feel like partying with my besties and wine and having a sleepover.

Watching Happy-Go-Lucky now, it's on Canvas, in case you were also wondering if it's a nice movie. I am going to pay attention now, with my chocolate mousse.
Well.. I'm not paying my attention with chocolate mousse.. I'm watching with attention and eating chocolate mousse. Anyway, envy my chocolatemoussness.

Oh David

One of my favourite films; Labyrinth.
With DAAAVIIIIID BOOOOOWIIEEEE and Jennifer Connelly (I like her! I just like Daaaaaviiiiiiidd BOoooowwwiieeeee more).
Imdb says:

Young Sarah is left home alone by her parents and she has to babysit her little brother Toby. But the baby keeps crying and Sarah, while telling him a story to make him sleep, inadvertently conjures from a fantasy world the Goblin King who steals the child and brings him to his castle in the middle of a labyrinth. Sarah has to rescue him before midnight, or the baby will became a goblin...

Okay, I'm gonna.. take a shower I think. Still feeling flu-ish, even after taking my flu medicine (which is actually nothing more than coffeine, paracetamol and vitamin c....) and gurgling with salty water (which is gross, but worked!).
Noo I'm feeling headaches.. ah well, I will make it to friday! ;)

Ciao baby's x

Komen kijken doen yeah.

What movies should I watch? What books should I read?

Since I will be living at least a month without my television and internet - 2 of my biggest companions in the battle of life, of course, uhuh- I am looking for nice movies or series to watch and books to read.

I'm packing the last of my stuff now; tomorrow I'll be going to Enschede. Everything is still in boxes there, but once I've given everything it's place (or, like my sister said; once you've redecorated everything.. 5 or 6 times) I will make some pictures, give my housewarmingparty and, hopefully, feel very much at home.

Though, the idea of living alone has given me the idea of rats again.. (the idea never left, I still thought about taking Sjors out of the cage every time I came home after being away for a while) I can't have a cat, unfortunately, but rats are also very awesome. I'm going to think this over some more for sure (but I already saw 2 really cute males in a rattery near my city)(butterflies :))

Also, yesterday I was in a house where they had a beautiful (miniature) Maine Coone <3 ahmmmmmmmprettykitty.

and a pretty girl to close this blog with.

So long, farewell, aufwiedersehen, goodbye.

I am still capable of surfin' because I got sick and I wasn't planning on cycling because of that

Because of that, I am boring myself to death again. Tonight Clueless will be on the telly. I will most possibly watch it (for the 4th time now).

So, here are some Brittany Murphy stills/things. I love the movie Girl Interrupted (watch it if you haven't), and she looked awesome in it. Angelina Jolie and Winona Rider also did. Ohh Winona with the short hair. And they all look like drug addicts and crazies, which suits them so awesomely well it is a bit scary.

Opinionize this

About 2 things. 1, of course, Alice in Wonderland, how could I forget. Second, Lady Gaga's Telephone video with Beyoncé.

Alice in Wonderland was a bit awkward because I was waiting for it for.. well more then a year. Me and my friends were hysterical the first time we heard Tim (fucking) Burton would be directing Alice in (fucking) Wonderland! And even more when we found out Johnny Depp would be playing the mad hatter. Of course. But well.. so then I went there with extremely high expectations. Which kind of got in my way, because I was like "omg.. I want to like this movie" while sitting there. And that's stupid. After the break I had kind of lost that, so that was nice.

But okay well yeah okay anyway.

Of course it looked gorgeous. All the scenery, the colours, the clothes, the people (Anne Hathaway with white hair = very cool. Mia Kamikosasakiwa = just annoyingly beautiful), the actors (Johnny, Helena, ALAN!, Matt, Stephen..). I was kind of annoyed by the little Alice, but well, she's just a kid, so I'll cut her some slack. :-)

I also loved the slightly different story, which I will not talk about in case you're still gonna see it.

The 3-D.. well.. it was cool but I'm not a sucker for 3-D and never will be I guess. The glasses made me a bit dizzy and left those stupid marks on my nose because.

Okay so, conclusion: It wasn't the best movie I ever saw, but it was still Really cool, but I feel like need to watch it again though. ("I feel like" omg ;-D)

Okay, second..... ... what was that a.. oohh yes, the Telephone video. Most of the time I thought the song was boring. The video.. was a bit too long.. the outfits and looks were stunning though :D especially Beyoncé. I loved her hair.

.. well that was kind of negative... sorry :p

Here's something nice then:

would that be a compliment?

Have a fantastic fucking day.

Dance project

These are stills from the recordings of 'Blindzien', the dance 'show' I was a part of. The part was choreographed by Piet Rogie who's just amazing and real fun to 'work' with. It was filmed and edited by Huub Laurens.
Performers:
Anna Boers, Jac Carlsson, Martijn Kappers, Robin Laurens, Merel Roozen, Hedda May Schueler and Suet-Wan Tsang. René Hazekamp made videoimages of the week we worked on the performance.

Like I might've said before, on my previous blog, this was such an amazing experience. I loved working with all those great people and doing something else, not only by myself.

Oh and I forgot to say anything about Noorderslag hehe, it was nice :-) and a nice ambience haha, nice to walk around.
They recorded lot of things (also my performance) : check it out.

Byedebye! xoxo

Oh ps. yes, that is raw meat. and yes, I am a vegetarian.
