I'm in Rotterdam now, went from Oerol straight to here. Which meant, a long journey with all kinds of different transportations: bike, boat, car, train, walking. It was okay, I watched Nightmare before Christmas in the train, and read a little and almost fell asleep 5 times in 15 minutes.
And I love boats. But it took me a total of 6 hours to get from one point to the other. Which was devastating. Especially after 5 days of late nights, lots of sun and sleeping in a fucking freezing sleepingbag. And I had to say goodbye to my boyfriend, knowing I wouldn't be seeing him for about 2 weeks (which is turning out to be less, but neither of us knew that of course :p).
Oerol was great though, we saw Roosbeef, De Speeldoos (project Roosbeef and De Staat), Villagers (soo beautiful and amazing, I didn't know any songs but I kept gazing the whole hour) and Moss. And more? I don't know anymore.
I went with my 2 best friends, another friend and zhe boyfriend. O, en breng een strandbal. Awesum.
So, now I'm sitting in a very dark room (there is light, I am just too lazy to get up). This weekend we won't be working; monday we will start again. Flora's Wondersong, Atheism..)
And something else which is very cool! My sisters clothing will be for sale in a atelier sale tomorrow and the day after that. It's Route du Nord (orsomething) in Rotterdam, and her clothing (together with some other young fashiondesigners stuff) will be for sale.
www.charlottekan.com I like almost everything she makes, it's really worth clicking. And, if you live in Rotterdam: come watch! There's lots of other ateliersellings too, and music and art exhibitions........and football in the afternoon of course.
Well, SALUT I'd say
